
Bio
Fr. Maximo was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He played rugby at “Champagnat” Rugby Club in Buenos Aires through high school and college. Fr. Maximo earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy from a Dominican university in Buenos Aires, his MA and MDiv from Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon, his STB from the Gregorianum in Rome, and his STL from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.
Fr. Maximo is a priest of the St. John Society, a society of apostolic life founded 25 years ago in Argentina. He was ordained on July 14, 2012, at the national shrine of the first Argentinian saint, Cura Brochero, in Cordoba, Argentina. Fr. Maximo served as the director of the Newman Center at Oregon State University for seven years. He is currently the chaplain for undergraduate students and athletics at The Catholic University of America.
