Diocesan Mass for Healthcare Professionals

Traditionally known as the White Mass, so named by the color worn by those in the healing profession of medicine, health care professionals gather under the patronage of St. Luke to ask God’s blessing upon the patient doctor, nurse, and caregiver alike.

Please join us for the Diocesan Mass for Healthcare Professionals at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. This event will begin with a plenary address from Cynthia Jones-Nosacek, MD, followed by a keynote presentation by Mike Aquilina.

Attendees are then invited to Mass with the Most Rev. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano, where medical professionals will profess their Catholic Physician Annual Promises and receive a blessing of their white coats. A light reception will follow in the Narthex of the Chapel.
