Technological advances are happening all around us, and they are changing the way that we relate to the world and one another. This talk attempts to explore what technology is and how it impacts our lives - for better or for worse. Drawing inspiration from great poets, philosophers, and theologians, this talk attempts to help engage technological advances more thoughtfully and more prayerfully, always keeping in mind that our greatest hope is not in innovation, but in contemplation.
“St. Bernard’s On the Road” features the ongoing availability of St. Bernard's faculty for affordable, in-person talks to parish communities throughout upstate New York. The talks offered represent a convergence of the faculty member’s expertise and the needs of the Church in our time.
