Are you looking for the chance to go on retreat AND receive course credit at the same time? Our faculty here at St. Bernard's have partnered with the monks of the Abbey of the Genesee to make this possible! This first-ever "retreat course" will provide the opportunity to pursue a ‘kneeling theology’ through the study of primary and secondary texts in the Catholic intellectual tradition, while simultaneously being enveloped in an atmosphere and practice of prayer. Our goal is to unite learning with adoring, studying with contemplation, knowledge with love.
Logistics: The cost of this retreat course is $1893, plus $260 for a private room at the Abbey for four nights (M-F) - all meals included. Generous financial aid is available. Please contact Dr. Matthew Kuhner (Matthew.Kuhner@stbernards.edu) to make a reservation. While all are encouraged to lodge at the retreat house, those who live near the Abbey have the option to commute to the retreat course each day.
