Certification Program

The Certification Program (available at our Rochester location only) shares in St. Bernard's two-fold mission: To educate men and women about ministry in a changing church and diverse society and to provide a center for understanding and integrating the living faith of the church and the experience of believers. this program is designed for those students who are not pursuing a graduate degree, but who have a thirst to learn more, to grow closer to the Lord Jesus, and sto hare their gifts. Courses can be taken for personal enrichment or to discern a call to ministry.  

Spring 2010 Certification Brochure

Students can enroll in one of four courses of study that will certify them in different areas of parish ministry:

• Certification in Youth Ministry
• Certification in Catechetical Leadership
• Certificate in Pastoral Ministry
• Certification in Parish Business Management

Registration:

A completed application consists of the application form  and a letter of recommendation from parish support staff.  The completed packet should be returned with a check for $20 (made payable to St. Bernard's to the Certificate Program Office at St. Bernard's.
