Graduate School Registration

Registration takes place in the Academic Office at specified periods as stated in the calendar. Students may register on-line , in person or by mail. All registrations are to be accompanied by the appropriate registration fee and a minimum of 25% of the tuition.

 Registrations for the Summer 2008 semester  are now being accepted.

First-time students are required to meet Admissions requirements and be interviewed by the Director of Admissions or the Registrar. Continuing students are required to meet with their faculty advisor prior to the registration process.

Course outlines and requirements may be previewed just prior to and during registration at the Registrar’s Office

Classroom assignments will be posted in the main entrance area.

St. Bernard's reserves the right to cancel a course for insufficient registration.

Payment of Accounts

 St. Bernard’s will not release grades to students, nor grant credit for coursework completed nor issue transcripts unless all charges for a given semester are paid in full.

 St. Bernard’s will not grant a degree or release an official transcript as long as a student has not fulfilled all financial and library related obligations.

 

Refund Policy 
------------------------------------------------------------

The registration fee is non-refundable.  However, should St. Bernard’s cancel a course, the School will refund all tuition and fees.  Should the student withdraw from a course and the course still continue, s/he is responsible for the full tuition and fees.  St. Bernard’s charges tuition until the date of official withdrawal, as indicated below.  The Business Office will handle situations not described in the sections below on an individual basis.

 Discontinuance of attendance or notice to the Professor does not constitute withdrawal.  The student must make application for withdrawal or for a change in class schedule in writing on an official Graduate Course Change Form, obtainable in the Registrar's Office.  The student must submit the completed form to the Registrar.

 If the student has elected to use the deferred payment plan, s/he should consult with the Business Office upon withdrawal from a class to learn of any additional financial liability.

Prior to class beginning ........  100% refund
           2 or less sessions .....   80%
              after 3 sessions .....   60%
              after 4 sessions .....   40%
              after 5 sessions ..... no refund

           

Cross Registration
------------------------------------------------------------

Cross registration for courses at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in the fall and spring semesters is done through the St. Bernard's Academic Office. Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and Bexley Hall Seminary students who wish to cross register for an St. Bernard's course in the fall and spring semester will do so through the CRCDS Academic Office. For summer school and January courses, students register directly at the institution offering the desired course. Cross registrations are subject to availability of openings; ordinarily, each school gives preference to its own students
