D309 Hospice Chaplaincy Program (Karaban) (full-year course)
A supervised pastoral training in hospice chaplaincy offered in collaboration with Visiting Nurse Service. Designed for those interested in learning how to minister to the dying and their families. Integrates theory and practical experience through lectures, case presentations and visitation. Face-to face interview and screening process required. It can be taken for a certificate or graduate credit by paying appropriate fees. This course meets the Pastoral Formation requirement for MAPS and MDiv students. Those interested should contact Dr. Roslyn Karaban before signing up, preferably by July 15.
