C/D387 - Life and Theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer

C/D387 - Life and Theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer (Schoelles)

This course will focus on the writings of an important 20th century theologian (1906-1945) in order to understand the interplay between his life, his theology, and his commitment to a relevant church and just society.  Bonhoeffer’s legacy from the previous century will be used as a prototype for appreciating the connection between our own life and the theological and social vision we acquire and develop.
