B 25 Conversion and Catechesis
Catechetical ministry goes far beyond the classroom and simply educating students. It involves a deeply held commitment to faith on the part of the catechist and the communication of that faith through sharing, discussion and a variety of faith formation activities. The ultimate goal of catechesis is the on-going conversion needed to live an adult, Christian Faith. After people are initially catechized, they turn toward the Living God. On-going catechesis, in all its potential forms, continues the strengthening of that relationship.
