C 365 The Human Person: Created, Fallen, and Redeemed

A course in theological anthropology which looks at the human person: created, fallen, and redeemed. We will look at Scripture, tradition, and theological debate to understand the nature of the human person from a Christian perspective. We will also explore pastoral and theological concerns such as gender, race, and authentic personhood. 3 graduate credits

A historical perspective with constructive possibilities for thinking about God within the Christian tradition today as well as with others whose approach to God may be different. Opportunity for reflecting on one’s own (often conflicting) images of God and exploration of these images in the arts. 3 graduate credits.
